When Bytedance, decided to open an AI lab in Warsaw, they chose WLG together with one other agency to support them. We introduced the client to Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) to navigate the local market and secure the most suitable government tax advantage programs for their new office.
As a company that only hires the top 1% of candidates from the market, Bytedance had high expectations for the machine learning and cloud specialists we needed to find. We mapped the market and identified the most relevant companies to hunt from, including Google, Amazon (Alexa), Yandex, and Spotify.
The hiring process was lengthy, with a challenging six-step interview process and whiteboard tasks, but we were able to successfully close over 70% of opened positions and hire 23 qualified candidates within just eight months.
Equinix R&D center - The company is a global leader in Internet connection and data centers.
Equinix turned to WLG and one other recruitment company when they opened an R&D center in Warsaw with the plan to hire 150 IT specialists within the first 18 months. In addition to supporting Equinix with their IT hires, we also helped with all non-IT hires related to office function roles.
68% of roles have been closed by our agency, with no candidates leaving within the first 18 months of their employment. Our success in this project led to an expansion of our contract to support their data center recruitment needs as well.

Our client is a full-service Scandinavian IT house that supports 55 Danish banks
We have been cooperating together since 2018. From the beginning of our cooperation, the company had 120 IT specialists in Poland. As of this year it has grown to over 600 people.
The client has 5 vendors simultaneously, eliminating the 2 lowest performances every year. WLG has the highest number of successfully closed roles within the last 1,5 years. We support clients with permanent recruitment and staff augmentations at the same time.
We support our client with both permanent recruitment and staff augmentation. In 2022, we had 116 active contractors, all of whom extended their agreements, and made 55 placements, 9 of which involved relocating candidates from other countries with our support for paperwork.
